Lead Document Control Specialist
The Lead Document Control Specialist will operate systems and implement processes to control and maintain company wide documentation. The candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of department and company policies and procedures, which relate to manufacturing and document control. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of and ability to read engineering drawings/documents, exercise good judgment and be an effective communicator. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with Engineering, Development, Manufacturing and Quality Departments to ensure all necessary Manufacturing documents are created, updated, and implemented in compliance with company standards.
  • Responsible for interfacing with Engineering Group to coordinate product releases.
  • Prepare and release Engineering Change Orders while understanding the rules of interchangeability.
  • Administering and maintaining an engineering change notification and product change notification system.
  • You will be expected to assign part numbers in compliance with company standards.
  • Responsible for data entry and maintenance of the MRP system to include all itemized parts, complete BOM’s and routings.
  • You will also actively work to develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system and computer database for engineering design documents to be retained in the engineering control center.
  • Take lead on resolution of Document Control related issues.
  • Research prior change requests for users, including history of a change, reason for change and an explanation of the actual change.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent (associates degree or better is a plus)
  • 8+ years in Documentation Control and related areas
  • Experience with Solidworks and PDMworks is required
  • Ability to lead document control group and possibly mentor and supervise more junior staff
  • Working knowledge of Documentation Change Control and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.) required
  • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems. MACOLA ERP Preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
  • Self-motivated while remaining a strong team player
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Technical writing experience is a plus 

Regional Sales Manager, Texas
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic talented professional Sales Manager to execute our strategic business plan in the Texas Gulf Coast Region. Viable candidates should meet the following criteria. 

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year College Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in XRF sales or capitol equipment.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in territory management of capitol equipment.
  • Ability to travel 60-70% of the time within the assigned region.
  • Computer and CRM experience
  • Ability to establish work environment at home.
  • Must be based within the TX or Gulf Coast Region.
  • Experience working with direct and indirect field agents.
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work weekends when needed.
  • Report directly to the North American Sales Manager. 

QA Engineer
In this position you will be an integral part of establishing and implementing quality standards, test/inspection methods, process control techniques and other quality engineering tools for the company's products and processes. You will assure quality standards are maintained, understood and adhered to across the R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Service organizations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure appropriate inspection and test methods are established for incoming, in-process and finished product.
  • Assist in the evaluation of suppliers, including the assessment of supplier quality systems and review of first article inspection data.
  • Develop, recommend, write and implement product/process improvements based upon manufacturing and field data.
  • Participate in the development or improvement of key quality systems, including design control, PaCA (Preventive and Corrective Actions), complaint handling, calibration, software control, etc.
  • Participate in customer complaint investigations and review other customer feedback for opportunities for improvement.
  • Review/approve non-conformances to company standards. Assure necessary corrective action is identified and implemented.
  • Determine and analyze compliance of product to government standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • A BS in engineering with at least 7 years combined experience in QA, QC, QE or engineering (at least 3 years in QA) of electronic and/or electrical instrumentation.
  • Experience preferred in a medium to large organization dealing with regulated products.
  • Understanding of radiation control and protection and experience with measurement techniques.
  • Experience with instrument related QA/QC concepts, including mechanical and electrical inspection techniques, software control, safety testing, risk analysis, reliability and failure analysis, etc.
  • Experience in product compliance determination and certification (i.e. FDA, CE, Lloyds)
  • Good working knowledge of quality standards (esp. ISO 9001:2000)

Telemarketing Representative
We are looking for an experienced telemarketing representative to be part of our growing telesales/outbound calling team, which is responsible for aggressively growing our customer base.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating and qualifying leads through cold calling
  • Managing leads by tracking and following up on them
  • Conducting sales presentations and product demos via the phone and internet
  • Closing sales and meeting monthly sales goals in accordance with development plan.
  • Producing activity reports
  • Attending tradeshows and conferences
  • Working with Sales Reps to cross generate leads

Qualifications:

  • Minimum six months telesales/outbound calling experience
  • Strong communication skills

Mechanical Design Engineer
We currently have an opening for an experienced hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer.  We are seeking an individual for the development of new electro mechanical products and support of existing designs.  You will work within a dynamic group of talented engineers and scientists designing and maintaining analytical instruments at the system and component level.  You must be highly motivated, and operate well both independently and as part of a team.  Expect to take plenty of responsibility and be a major contributor to our continuing success.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years experience in the design of machined components, sheet metal enclosures, packaging of PCB’s and system level packaging in a fast paces start-up environment.  Experience designing for industrial applications is preferred.  A working knowledge of the requirements of manufacturability and quality are essential to this position as is the ability to take a project through all phases of engineering from conception through the release to manufacturing.

Required skills include all the following:

BSME 3+ years experience
Strong knowledge in SolidWorks & PDMworks.
Ability to work cross functionally between groups.
Experience in building prototypes.
Excellent communications skills
